I wasn’t going to post this but here we are. If y I wasn’t going to post this but here we are.

If you see my comfort zone anywhere tell her I’m alive and well without her at the moment.

In the midst of celebrating a small win, I found myself speaking openly about my food content creation journey so far and it felt…..vulnerable. I thought, no way am I keeping those parts in the final edit. So I cut them out.

But the truth is, the accounts I love following most aren’t just polished edits 100% of the time. They’re real people. And behind this account, I’m just a normal person with doubts, fears, and plenty of days where I’m figuring it out as I go.

And so I thought I’d share these clips anyways because I want the new friends & faces here to feel like they can relate and connect with me. I’m not perfect. I’m not famous. I’m just like you.

If you’ve ever held back from putting yourself out there or trying something new, I encourage you to do it anyways.

Share it while fearing judgement, failure, or the unknown on the other side. If you wait until those fears aren’t there, you’ll never get the chance to see that it turns out okay in the end after all.

If we don’t step outside our comfort zone and do things that challenge us, how will we ever grow?

Thank you for being here, I have so many yummy recipes to share with you soon! 🫶🏼

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to my happy place to process the fact that I actually posted this - my kitchen. 🥘👩🏼‍🍳
Cake pops to celebrate 200 (now over 250!) food lo Cake pops to celebrate 200 (now over 250!) food lovin friends!!

I know it’s a small ‘milestone’ but I am so grateful!

I don’t want to get stuck in the cycle of thinking small wins aren’t worthy of celebrating. Because they are, even if it seems silly or small compared to where others are at.

I’m showing up with gratitude each day for the growth I’ve had thus far.

Seriously, thank you all so much for the support, comments, and for hanging out with me on Ready Set Host. You guys are the best!

This is just the beginning! 😊

Also shout out to @daisymakes_innovations for the perfect cakesicle popper to make my celebratory batch of cake pops! 🎂

Taking a second to enjoy a quiet morning on my day Taking a second to enjoy a quiet morning on my day off. 🌿

If you’re new around here, I’m balancing the corporate 9–5 and first-time mom life while stepping out of my comfort zone to make my food blog something more….permanent if ya know what I mean.

My whole goal with this page is to share realistic recipes that actually turn out, easy weeknight dinners, party dishes everyone asks for, and a whole lot of my humor along the way (not saying it’s GOOD humor, but my default setting is laughter).

Oh and some mom life sprinkled in. That’s what I got going on here.

Thanks for taking a peek into my morning and being part of this space with me! 🤍

Dinner doesn’t have to be made from scratch to be Dinner doesn’t have to be made from scratch to be home made. If this is what dinner looks like at your house some nights, I hope you know you’re still doing a great job.

Dinner at my parents’ house tonight was burger plates, easy sides, and paper plates.

Sometimes the best host move you can make is removing the pressure. Less time at the stove means more time around the table with family.
